AESTHETICA GROUND ZERO

Snapped these at a restaurants roof a while ago. No wonder that I have no desire to paint at all. (Few know this, even less should know this, but I did a “art-exhibition” with paintings and installations some six years ago at a hotel in  Sweden. I sold nothing and none of the paintings now remain in existence.  So, we can gather around that it must have been really good works of art. Otherwise it should have sold. I remember being asked if I “had a name as a painter”. In that case they would like it… We live in the upside-down-world at this moment in time.)

  1. Don’t be discouraged. I think it’s like my novel, great work but wrong market. I keep sending it out but no one wants to publish it. Those that have read it liked it a lot and can’t wait for the next part but still not getting published. Perhaps you were just at the wrong hotel trying to sell to the wrong people. Art and writing are both “right place, right time” professions. Unfortunately, I’m a “right place, wrong time” kind of girl. I say keep trying because really what else are we gonna do?

    • I am not trying to “make it” anywhere. This was a thing I did from nowhere for it to become nothing. I got surprised how easy it was to “fake” art. I have a real life as I do other things. Everything you will see here like poetry and quite low budget photography is just my facade as I do “what else”. I love the concept of art and I wish art could be really good in the future to come.

  3. Don’t give up. Art is great for you and someone clearly thought it was fab for you to have an exhibition. Now…how many famous artists can you think of…and how many of them are dead? Keep enjoying your art. Fame isn’t all its cracked up to be anyhow.

  4. I think we should all have painting names. I think mine might be Suzette Montalban. Hmm. I’d have to specialise in oils then. I could be Sharon Bloxwich and construct things on tea trays. Yes. Now I have a name as a painter. Thank you.
